Frequently asked questions
The prayer times look slightly different from my mosque.
Open Settings and choose the calculation method and madhab your mosque uses. You can also adjust each reminder with an offset in minutes.
I'm not getting notifications.
Make sure "Enable Local Notifications" is on in the app's Settings, and that notifications are allowed for Pocket Bilal in iPhone Settings → Notifications.
How do I remove prayer times from my calendar?
Turn off "Calendar Integration" in the app's Settings, or delete the "Pocket Bilal Prayers" calendar from the Calendar app.
Can I use it without sharing my location?
Yes. Turn off "Automatic" under Location in Settings and enter your latitude and longitude.
